Adult Open Hockey 2025-26

Adult open hockey is for anyone that is 30 years of age or older. The cost is $7.00 per session for those that are not West Salem residents or WSHA members.

The adult hockey sessions are for people that are age 30 or older.

When

We will be updating the adult hockey sessions on the association calendar soon. Keep an eye out for emails, too, announcing when we'll be getting rolling.

Adult Hockey Sessions

The adult hockey sessions are scrimmages. Teams are formed randomly, and gameplay is determined by the number of players and goalies attending that night.

Games

Depending on numbers, games are typically played either 4v4 or 5v5. These are NOT officiated games. Offsides, icing, and goalie stoppages are on the honor system.

Ex. For a clear offsides, the puck will be dumped behind the net and given to the other team (any shot on goal doesn't count). For goalie stoppages, the attacking team will clear the area allowing the defending team to start possession.

Jerseys

Please bring (2) jerseys to each adult hockey session. A lighter and darker jersey will help identify a difference in teams.
